Sore breast

Hello ladies..

My left breast is sore and tender to touch. I've checked for new lumps and nothing. It seems to be in the tissue part, around my nipple area when I slightly press or massage it and when I bend over a little sore in this area... Anyone experiencing similar ? Thanks in advance. CK

Yes, I've seen my doctor and my gynecologist (twice) since February about this same issue. It's been determined it's fibrocystic breast pain. I had a mammogram last year, and everything checked out great. I have very small but very dense breasts though. 

For me, the pain in my breast is near constant regardless of where I am in my cycle, but eases up a bit the first 2 days of menstruation. My gynecologist recommended ibuprofen and evening primrose oil. I'm going to start the evening primrose oil today and hopefully that eases the pain.

Hi CarolKelso, I use to get a lot breast pain when I was in peri..it use to come on with my periods but that has finally stop when the end, so it might just be the change that is causing it.

Happens to me intermittently. Sometimes not for months but always returns, and each time is different. Right now I'm like you...one breast, around nipple.

Unnerves me.

Hi.  When I first started in peri, I used to get left breast pain a lot.  It causes so much anxiety.  Mammos were okay.  I also have very dense breasts.  I’ve been in Peri about 2.5 years now.  The breast pain is less frequent.
