today's symptom ; just when I thought I was finally seeing some light.... SORE TONGUE? anyone else ?
Hi Cindy! I don’t necessarily have a sore tongue, but I do get severely dry tongue that can also come with the inside of my month feeling very hot. It is uncomfortable and annoying, It usually comes and goes for a few days and then magically disappears for a few weeks or even months.

Hi Cindy
All these symptoms are bloody awful. Is your tongue painful like a sting or burning? I have burning mouth syndrome as one of my perimenopause symptoms and its bloody awful. I mostly have the burning tongue from half way down to the tip like it has been stuck in boiling water and then sometimes it feels like the after sting of burning your tongue. I take carbamazepine for it and the burning skin and it has been working fairly well though i do have breakthrough moments.
I’m not saying this is what you have just that this is a symptom for many women in peri.
Hope you figure out why your tongue is sore and you find relief.
Hi Shylee. thank you for responding. it’s hard to say really; I think my pain is more central . I keep thinking that I may have an ulcer but I cannot see anything ( possibly due to my deteriorated eyesight as well !!) I hope you feel better soon. Cindy
