Hi- can anyone tell me if they’ve experienced irritability and mood swings, dizziness and what feels like is slow motion brain (lol- I know that sounds weird)  after stopping SSRI? Today’s day 6 off lexapro and I felt so good for the first 5 days off and today I feel emotional,crabby, and all of the above. Just looking for reassurance it will get better. And how long it took others to feel “normal” again.

It took me 7 weeks to start feeling good again.  I have had dizziness, pressure in my head, foggy brain.  It takes time but it does get better.

Yes yes yes.  You might also feel like your brain is lagging a second behind if you move too quickly or look from side to side. This will go completely in about 3 weeks

This morning I feel nauseated and horrible headache too. I can’t stand this. It’s hard to be patient.
