Has anyone had these and if so, have they helped?
Thanks!

Acupuncture is how I found relief. Also Turmeric 800 mg in the morning & 400 mg of Carbamazapine at night before I had the acupuncture..
Yes, temporarily. Rather invasive but so is the pain,
I’ve had two so far in my doctors office. I’m trying to understand if maybe there’s different types based on your response and because I’m reading about them and people get sedated for them.
Because mine are very simple. Basically he just sticks a needle in my neck (after finding the spot on his scanner) and injects an anesthetic and steroid.
Of course no no one loves having a needle stuck in them but other than it being right in the middle of my neck which is a strange place it’s not that bad.
I had my second one last week and I was at level top 10 pain but since Sunday it’s been a little better and I’m hoping it’s because of the block. I can have another this Thursday.
my experience was similar I has to take t3s to tolerate the first two days when it increased my pain, for the next two three weeks I would have some relief. Cortisone steroids are pretty risky, so I The whole procedure. I recently decided it’s an expensive risky practice for temporary relief. I am forcing my pain specialists to try something more effective.
Oh I guess I’m lucky there, it doesn’t increase my pain. In my case the pain was already at its zenith, but did you find another option that’s more effective for you?
Yes lidocaine infusion, ketamine topical. Little invasive but the pain relief is good.
