Hi all need some help as doctor says it's probably a bug.it's not.all started a few weeks ago.was constipated for 2 days even though was having bowell movement's. Then after that I would go toilet and push and it was diarrhoea even though I had no urge.that lasted 2 days.then stool hardened up a bit.but then had pain under left top rib and right side stomach that would come and go maybe 10-12 times a day.including eggy burps.can hear and feel stomach rumbling with gas.constantly farting.now 3-4 days after feeling ok I wake up with belly ache and have runs and bad gas again.while all this is going on my stool amount is less than it use to be.had a polyp removed 2 months ago From a sigmiscopy and have a colonscopy and of January and am worried a bigger polyp is maybe causing obstruction.to stop my poo being usual full amout.but keep thinking could be ibs.
Sounds like IBS. I would go back to your doctor to get a firm diagnosis.
Hi Dan it sounds like IBS I would definitely see a doctor to confirm. Have you tried probiotics that can really make a difference. Another thing to look into because this came out of nowhere is Post Infectious IBS. It's quite common nowadays
