I have strabismus 2 years, I had 2 operations muscles, the situation is better, but now I wear glasses and I'm 19 years old. I wonder whether the strabismus can be corrected with laser surgery?

I have had strabismus for years, I had an operation last year and unfortunately for me it didn't work and I had to have three op's over 6 weeks, I am left with constant double vision and have to block the vision in one eye with a patch, glasses with prisms don't work for me now. My eyes are perfectly straight but my brain refuses to fuse images. It is quite a complex thing strabismus and it can't be corrected by laser surgery as it is muscle and brain that cause it. Do you not like wearing glasses? Do you have prisms?
I agree with Jennifer strabismus cannot be helped with laser surgery. I have had this condition for about 5 years, the first op was on both eyes to level them and push them backwards. This helped but I still had double vision with a tilt. I had another op last week on one eye I'm then having a cataract done on the other eyenext week hopefully the brain will do it's job and the sight will do it's best to come as normal as possible. But I'm expecting to have to have glasses with prisms. I understand there is a limit on how many times you can have this surgery as the muscles get to much scar tissue. Stay positive and listen to all the advice you are given it can be quite frightening when you read up on this eye condition.
Doctors said it is strabismus treated at an early age, I had two operations and now I wear corrective lenses and my eyes are correct, I was on the review and the doctor recommended me to continue to wear glasses, contact lenses and the possibility to laser solved but I'm interested in this situation with a laser and go to another doctor May 24, so I'll see what I say. Thank you!
