I'm a 35 year old woman. Last week I fainted, not sure why or if I hit my head. The next day I felt ok but ended up having a panic attack because I felt like I was going to faint again. I went to the ER where they just tried to give me Ativan. They did no testing. Later that day the back of my neck started hurting really bad, I felt pressure in the back of my head and dizziness, I feel like puking, no appetite, spaced out feeling, there is a disconnect between my brain and hands making it really hard to type, I can't remember how to spell, I have fatigue, going to the store is horrible, the lights and dizzines is overwhelming. I went to the chiro for an adjustment which helped my pain but I'm still having symptoms. He said it looks like I may have had whiplash. My friend said she had similar problems and she finally found out she had fluid that needed to be drained from her spine? I don't know if that's what's going on. I feel like I'm going insane. I have an appt with my doctor in a few days but I'm afraid she is just going to give me anxiety pills. Just a week ago I was active and full of energy. I literary can't move off the couch now. Please help.
hi linsay . you can try something it costs nothing while your sat down roll a towel up and put into the ridge of your neck at normal temperature and try to relax but when someone faints it needs looking at and should be checked out by a specialist . is there any lag in movement between brain and movement ? but in anycase needs properly looking into . and i wish you well soon .
thank you, yes I'm going to get checked out tomorrow by my doctor.
