Suoer scared about chiropractor adjustments

I have been going to a chiropractor for adjustments to help with my lower back. Once I went to a place that has a good establishment ,recommended and has great reviews. I started getting adjustments and I was feeling better in the beginning but now I am getting odd headaches . The feel like my head is pulsing. They aren't there all the time but they come and go . I am worried he damaged something . I have read stories of people getting strokes , heart attacks etc. Has anyone experience anything like this ?

I went to a chiro back in march and have been in physical ever since to fix what he screwed up.  He said I had a reverse curvature of the neck and  getting it back into alignment would fix all of my problems.  I was in a bad wreck back in 1984 and apparently my muscles had healed in the wrong position. I had no idea because they didn't bother me.  The chiro did too much too fast and broke apart all of those muscles at once.  I had horrible burning pain in my upper back, shoulders and neck. The muscles actually got so tight my hands and feet went to sleep and tingled.  All of those muscles developed knots and I started having spasms and couldn't turn my head, look down or keep my shoulders down. Those spasms moved up the back of my neck and into my head and face.   The TMJ is probably causing some of the facial spasms but all of this happened at the same time. The physiotherapist does a myofascial release to break up the knots and also using dry needling.  It's helped tremendously but I still have pain and stiffness in my shoulders, upper back, front and back of the neck, head and face.

I have been having lower back pain and tailbone pain. I did meet with a new chiropractor with wonderful reviews but I am scared to try again.

I think I might quit going to the chiropractor and try a physio.
