Sweating at night

Hello.

I have some questions and thought maybe some of you ladies could help..

I am 34 years old, fairly healthy I'd like to think..mother of two girls and one angel.

I have one ovary. I lost the other one during my second birth (c-section), due to a very large dermoid cyst.

I have a smaller dermoid in my remaining ovary, but my RE and I have chosen to watch it for now, as removing it could cause a decrease in ovarian function and we are ttc.

My period have always been regular despite losing the ovary (six years ago). I had my AMH and all other hormones tested last year, and they were fine.

Ended up pregnant after trying for 17 months, last march, and sadly, lost her at 22 weeks. So now we are trying again.

We lost her in August of 2016 (5 months ago) and started trying again in November.

Well, for the last few mknths, I have been experiencing night sweating.

It happens almost every night. I am not drenched...but my chest is always sweating, and depending on the night, the back of my neck and groin.

It never touches the sheets or pillow, but my shirt and underwear are sometimes damp.

I mentioned it to my RE, who said it isn't perimenopause and didn't say much more.

I know I am young, but I only have one ovary and it has a cyst.

I am so afraid it is perimenopause.

Wondering if it could just be hormonal or anxiety related.

I don't have any other symptoms!

What were your first signs of peri and did you have regular periods still?

Thanks and sorry for rambling!

Margie,

Sorry to hear of your problems.  My first signs of perimenopause was excessive hair loss, night sweats, and I didn't feel well.

My first thought is to try not to worry.  If it is the beginning of perimeno symptoms, there isn't much you can do about it except, eat right, exercise a little, get in bed early take a good mulit vitamin, drink plenty of water, and find at least a little time for yourself everyday.  Do everything you can to give your body all that it needs.  I had regular periods for ten years after my first symptoms.

I only have one ovary and sweat bad at nite im on levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid and my periods are all over the place been to docs today they sending me for a ultra sound scan im so worried

Margie, I started perimenopause around 42 and had regular 28 day cycles for 6 years after that.

Hot flashes, night sweats and increased anxiety were my first symptoms at 42.
