I've had these little bumps that I'm not sure if they are genital warts or skin tags for over 6months now. I went to take a standard STD test but I was clean. I tried using banana peels and it kinda shrank the skin tags but I wasn't consistent enough, so I started to use tea tree oil on the tags. Unfortunately, instead of the usual bandage wrap, I dampened a cotton ball with tea tree oil and wrapped my penis shaft with plastic wrap. I left it overnight and woke up to a burning sensation and the whole area that I wrapped it now gross looking.
Now I don't know what to do, just let it heal or what. Also I don't know if it's more than just skin tags.
This has really been bothering and stressing me out.

Hi, you really should visit your GP with that you could have an infection there it needs treatment. Take care
Unfortunately the Tea Tree oil, or anything like that for the matter can be far too strong for the more sensitive genital skin to deal with.
I would suggest you need immediate medical attention for this - be warned this could be a very long-term thing for the skin of the area to look anywhere near normal, you may also be left with permanent scarring
Seeking the help of a Dermatologist after you have had initial medical attention may be highly beneficial
