Tendon damage

I have tendinitis in my achilles and in my wrist to my elbow, also suffer carpal tunnel. Is there possibility of long term damage to tendons and should you take anti inflammatory tablets everyday.

You definitely SHOULD NOT take anti-inflammatory tablets everyday.  They can cause major damage if taken too often.  Try to reduce inflammation naturally with fish oil and lots of rest if possible.  For your tendonitis in your arms the best thing that you can take is Elbow Revive which not only has nutrients to help reconstruct joint damage, but also anti-inflammatory nutrients (like turnmeric and boswellia).  It may even help inadvertently with the problem in your achilles.

Kim,

I agree with cappy, anti-inflammatories are very hard on your stomach.  They are very acidic and can eat a hole in the lining of your stomach (also known as an ulcer).  Fish oils are a great natural anti inflammatory and of course the best anti inflammatory is ICE.  Use an ice pack on your elbow and wrist twice a day, if you can.  Tendinitis is usually caused by over use and then weakness.  If you can, change your activities and give both a rest.  Then start slowly to strengthen both.  I would see a good exercise physio or chiro to help with your rehab and a deep massage therapist to break up the scar tissue.  Good Luck!

Thank you for the advice I can c a physiotherapist at work ive not taken any anti inflammatory medicine for a few weeks but have been using ice packs which help.
