Hi, I am having some issue with my eyes lately. Whenever I read, texts looks little vibrating. This happens more if the background is black and the text is while. My eyes also catch the afterimage of any bright object. Like last night, we were getting a picture clicked and the flash from camera was stuck in my head for literally 10 mins. I could see the flash in the vision. It's same when I', taking for someone and behind them is a bright background, moving my head and blinking still gives me a rough shadow structure of the person. Also, my eyes are pretty red when I wake up in the morning, it goes okies in afternoon but again go red in the night. Is there someone else who is going through the same thing?
Not sure if it is exactly the same but I have something similar with text and have astigmatism. Have you had your eyes tested recently. That would tell you if you have something like that going on.
I have the black background/text thing too. I also suffer from after images. No red eyes though.
Did you find anything from the doctors?
Yes, I got them tested and I got a new glass, but I don't see any difference. Do you see halos/ starburst around lights?
It all happened after a migraine aura, so all the doctors tell me it is migraine related. I have many other visual disturbances in addition to the jumpy vision and after images.
I get these after images, its really annoying. I could be looking at my phone and then see it after i look away. i also get red eyes buy the end of the day and straight lines for me sometimes appear wobbly. I've had various check ups, but they all say other than dry eye, my eyes look healthy.
There's more tests they can do, for example they can specifically test how the retina is working but they never do, they just pack you on your way, leaving you in an anxious state.
One doctor told me its the anxiety it's self causing all these issues. I get flashes and floaters also.
Sorry just saw this reply. I had all kinds of visual disturbances but had an extreme migraine syndrome associated with auto immune disease.
I find the idea that this is anxiety really quite bizarre. Think it could be a multitude of things but anxiety...don't get that at all. Doctors really pull that one out of the hat for all kinds of things. Sounds like nonsense to me.

yes i have these exact vision problems. im always super worried about it and scared that i might have something wrong with my brain. it causes me so much anxiety on top of all of the anxiety that i already have. at a point in the two years ive had these symptoms they seems to get worse and worse or im just more and more anxious? i tie this and that to it and that one day i guess itll be too late and ill be dead? ive explained these symptoms to my eye doctor but she said nothing looks wrong with my eyes and that i have nothing to worry about. but what if it isnt my eyes? every day is a misery and no one i know would understand how it feels to carry this unhappiness
