The government is introducing new neighbourhood health services across the country, bringing diagnostics, mental health, post-op, rehab, and nursing to your home. Millions of patients will be treated and cared for closer to their home by new teams of health professionals.
I think this is a great idea to save hospital resources and I very much prefer to go local. As long as enough new doctors and consultants are trained and also new facilities where new home developments are being built.
Also prevention better than cure. Show how to take care of yourself.
It would be great to be cared for (full stop)!! How “normal is it to be started on a course of indefinite invasive treatment without an initial consultation - because the waiting list is too long! Its like fishing in the dark without a flucking rod - That can’t be right
