So I was diagnosed with herpes in early December and about 3 weeks after that I started really looking at my skin to make sure I wasn’t spreading anything to myself . I notice a couple discoloration spots , One little tiny pimple (which isn’t unusual for my hands) and a little circle lighter pigment on my thumb. Within a week all my little things disappeared naturally. Problem is this pimple came back. This time it’s bigger. It doesn’t look like all the pictures of whitlow but it’s just the fact it came back in the same spot within days. Keep in mind my skin is weird . Like from time to time it does do something unusual like this. It’s just the timing has me scared. Can someone help. Oh also I’ve developed a tingling in some of My fingers but none of them have a bump. The one that does have the pimple doesn’t have a tingling .
Mine is ghsv1 but I had a mysterious pimple on my finger after my initial outbreak. I can't remember but I think it went away maybe after a month. I was just careful not to get it near my eyes just to be safe. I covered it with a bandaid at the nail salon.
I have ghsv1 too so I think I’ll try that thank you

Let me know how you are doing. I haven't had any outbreaks since my first which was horrible unless it was light, have had what I thought was chafing and that may or may not have been an outbreak.
So today I wore the bandage and when I checked it there was a small dark dot in the middle and it’s cimoketely flat. But when I wash my hands it rises.
Yes I didn't wear bandaid except when I was going to be touching skin with someone else like the nail salon. I just was careful not to get near my eyes. Was so frightened that I would get in eyes.
