Throat tension and anxiety, trouble breathing!

Hi so I went to the ER since I had trouble swallowing and yesterday was really terrifying. I got my throat checked out and they told me I had throat tension mostly due to stress and anxiety so I was feeling slightly relieved to know it wasn't anything serious but does throat tension make it feel like you have trouble breathing? Because now I'm getting mostly this symptom and I feel like I'm not getting enough air into my lungs. I feel like this and wonder if this can happen and is it considered normal?

yes all symptoms of anxiety and the more you stress and over think it the worse it gets

Yes, it is anxiety. I am asthmatic and have had a season in which I could not breathe, I thought my asthma had worsened. So I went to the GP and after doing several tests he told me it was anxiety. I couldn’t believe it but it is. I suffer anxiety for seasons for more than 10 years, but I never imagined that it could give so many symptoms that do not seem related to each other. Anxiety can be choking, as if you had asthma, stomach aches, gastroesophageal reflux, headaches, muscle aches … there are so many symptoms that I can’t list them all. I wish you good luck and strength!
