Tingling in mouth & thigh

Hi all, I was diagnosed in May & currently being treated with Prednisone (need to quit) & Methotrexate. I have this burning in my tongue, no sores I can see. Not excruciating, just very annoying. Could it be thrush caused by medications?

Also have this tingling/burning in one thigh only, also not excruciating but annoying. Any thoughts are appreciated, thank you

Have had thrush from antibiotics and mtx. Dr can take a biopsy .

usually nay stain Liquid is prescribes as a mouth rinse.

Nystatin liquid. Correction.

Hi,methotrexate can cause mouth sores and it is possible that it

could be causing the tingling. We usually contact the nurse at the rheumatologist office if something is concerning to us.We both see the same rheumatoid for different conditions (poor nurse lol) but no question is ever too small if we need an answer.Hope you find why the tingling is happening

Thank you Tory

MTX causes me to deposit more plaque on my teeth next to my salivary glands so 3 cleanings are needed instead of 2 each year. And sometimes my tongue turns white and then goes away. So I would not be surprised if the MTX causes the burning in the tongue but I can't imagine why there would be tingling in the thigh.

Thank you Timothy

Prednisone caused me thrush and still have dry mouth and nose.

Nystatin swish and swallow for I think 2 weeks helped.

i still on occasion have tingly lips and tongue feels raw and big.  I did read toxins in our body can cause tongue to do weird stuff.  I'll drink distilled water and lemon to help clean liver. Seemed to work or its in my head. Ha.

yes, have to brush teeth more often and longer.

Avoid, avoid sugar.

Prednisone gave me a fungal infection in my mouth with sore white patches and spots on my tongue and mouth tissue.  I had to suck on antifungal lozenges several times a day.  It went away.  The second time that I was on prednisone, it was a lower dosage for a shorter time and I did not get an infection.
