Hi all,
I had my first hm a couple of months back and have only just got most test results back all seem relatively clear apart from increased cardiolipids which needs to be repeated. MRI scan shows all results within normal range.
I was put on 300mg aspirin for 2 weeks then told to continue with daily 75mg.
However I've since developed a high pitched tone which I can only presume is tinnitus which is a side effect of taking aspirin. Has anyone else had this with aspirin medication or following a HM episode?

I have tinnitus. I started getting it about 10 years ago from amitriptiline. Or however that is spelled. LOL.
I have had tinnitus for about 10 years in both ears, caused by taking eletriptan for migraine pain relief
I suffered dreadful migraine and tinnitus like this for a long time. Please be wary of a diagnosis of hm. Scans etc were clear. It turned out to be auto immune disease with me. If you have other health problems going on you may want to consider there may be another cause.
You may want to have inflammatory markers checked. Not often done as routine.
