How can ear ringing be avoided when tapering from benzos? Does everyone develop this condition? Ive heard very very slow tapering helps. Not sure though.
I weaned slowly. I only had that problem for about a couple of weeks. Everyone is different though. It’s all the other crap that I had . Everyone is different. There are several withdrawals that we all go through, but not all have them. So individual
How slowly did you taper? What meds were you taking?
For both the benzo and trazodone I took 9 months to come off.
Started with half of the benzo for 2 weeks. Then he wanted me to start the trazodone. That was done slowly. Once the traz was done I then did the benzo.
The hald drop in the beginning was way to fast as was the last part in the end.

Yes it was. Why do doctors do this? They need to get this figured out.
