i had a trapeziectomy about 7 weeks ago. surgeon said i could take tbe splint off after 4 weeks. i am still getting acute pain around and under the stitches in my wrist where tendon was realined and in thumb. Is this normal ? Anyone else had acute pain for long period after. Should i consult hospital?
