hi i really need some advice ive just started taking trazodone 150mg at night but the following day i feel like a complete zombie is this normal thanks

Hi

150mg is a high dose to start. Id start at 50mg for a week and see how you go. Make sure you take it just before you lay down.

I also started at 50mg, and felt like a zombie in the morning with that.

Please just be sure you really want to take it.   I have been weaning off it since March/17, and it has been a nightmare

I cut my trazodone in half last night but today every time I eat after an hour or so I'm sick is this normal thank you

Not sure never been sick with Trazodone. Maybe worth s chat with your doctor.

I also felt dizzy and like a zombie for around 3 days in the morning. It passes.

Id check with your doc. Hope things get better soon for you.

Will be taking my 1st dose o f this medication tonight hoping & praying it works for me quickly without any fuss. Tho the reviews iv read aren't very good so I'm worried about trying it.

Hi Karen ive been taking Trazodone for a year now and it works really well for me with insomnia. Remember the first couple of days you may feel dizzy and tired until it gets in your system. Please remember to only take as you are ready to lay down.

Thanks lisa I'm glad it works for you! I very rarely take even a pain killer so I'm a bit worried as to how it will effect me xxxx

Hi weeksie, it's the 50s I'm string on doc says after 2 weeks she might up the dosage! X
