twitching in arm and internal tremor?! physical symptoms of anxiety

Hi does anyone on here ever get weakness and a strained feeling in just one arm? My right arm twitches, doesnt feel normal at all i have weakness and something i can only describe as internal vibration?! I'm not going to lie this type of anxiety is literally ruining my life its so debilitating questioning every sensation in my body :/ Pls someone help and reply. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes yes yes. You are not alone in this.
I had myself doing pushups to make sure I wasnt losing my strength all-together. It effects my left leg though. Even after two years I still get twitching. Even as I write this it is twitching in a various places around my body- just tiny ones. sometimes its like an internal vibration or a single muscle fiber (instead of entire muscle or group) thats going haywire ,..

Sometimes it feels like bugs crawling under my skin. Of course you want to talk to a doctor about it and let them evaluate your physical and mental self, but I can say that after two years of swearing I was going to lose all my strength and die; Im still here writing you this message. Stay strong. Im with you on this.

Hi , I’ve had twitching in my shoulder , another time in my forearm and many I used to get it in my eye lid. It would really bother me in the eye lid because it took my concentration away and made me feel conscience of how it must look. Surprisingly in a mirror it was unnoticeable but it felt almost like I was winking. All of the twitches happened when I was doing nothing .I can’t say that I related it to anxiety.
My arm twitches seem to happen when my arm was hanging away from my body while leaning , as if the nerves were having trouble connecting in that position.
Just the fact that it isn’t a normal feeling can make us anxious , especially if we dwell on our health and wellness. I had little control over my twitches but sometimes I could summons them to happen after they stopped.
I also have occasional irregular heart beat
( urythmia ) and it would happen when I was laying down , perfectly still , and I was able to concentrate and make my heart skip a beat . Doctors have tested me but don’t understand my situation. It happens , then goes away for months then happens for 1-2 days repeat…
You may be right about the anxiety … I do suffer from it and have learned to live around it.
My suggestion is when it happens , change positions , don’t let it worry you , it will go away … faster if you don’t worry about it .
Remember … anxiety is mainly untrue beliefs . Things that we imagine might happen or exaggerate. If we can rationalize our reason for the anxiety, when we are in a calm state , then we can get past it faster and faster.
Find your way to calm first.
Distraction in the form of meditation ,exercise or doing something that makes you calm . Sometimes we just have to change the way we think about things so we can accept them without fear.
And don’t just continuously try to fix it.
Fixing it is when you stop thinking about it and let it be what it is … imaginary or irrelevant to you. Something that can’t hurt you . After all anxiety can be worse than what you fear the most.
I hope this helps .
Just remember almost everyone suffers from time to time !

Thank you so much for replying im glad i’m not alone in this

Thank you so much for replying! I feel like im hitting a roadblock with all of this anxiety. Its almost as if i no longer trust my body and i doubt every single feeling. it feels like its taking over my life. Ive had CBT therapy but i feel like that has not helped at all. I need to find better ways of coping. sorry for going on a tangent. Appreciate the reply and the advice!

I too have been having these similar symptoms, especially at night so I cant sleep. Ive been to a doctor, had a full panel of bloodwork done which was normal, an MRI of my brain which is normal. The only thing that helps is my doctor prescribed Xanax which helps me sleep. I did it for 5 nights in a row and I was so much better I was able to stop the xanax for a while. When i started worrying again it came back. I’m fine when im talking to friends and am relaxed or focused on something else which makes me think it is just anxiety Its just so weird since it seemed to come out of nowhere and I didnt feel
anxious during the day when this started. I have a very high stress job and two little children and just hit an age milestone which I think sparked thisNever had any of these symptoms before this Januaryso weird

It really sounds like it is brought on by worrying about it.
In cases of panic, the secret is to not think about it any more . But how do you do that …
Change the way that you think about it . Don’t fear it …accept it . Make it a joke . It’s your best way of getting rid of it.
The best to you … Stephen.
