Ulcer found during colonoscopy, not ulcerative colitis - biopsies take, still sore.

I had a colonoscopy on Thursday, which was a lot less painful than one I had 2 years ago. The outcome was no abnormalities but ulcers on both sides of colon. biopsies were taken. I am still sore and tender both lower sides and very tired, is then normal? Thank you.

Hi Anna

I was tired after mine too. I think the fact that we eat very little before hand and then have the prep...it will take a little while to get our strength back.

My biopsies where very near the entrance so ok . Hope you feel better soon.

i agree with amanda you feel a bit washed out from the whole procedure you should feel better shortly all the best john
