After clear ultrasounds, MRI, HIDA, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, blood tests, stool samples I've been told I have IBS / abdominal migraines / hypersensitivity. Is it possible to have an issue with your gallbladder without being picked up by the above?
Main symptoms: right upper quadrant pain, pain in right shoulder, yellow stools, intolerance to fatty foods, lower back pain etc. Seems to be pointing to GB but tests keep coming back clear....
Any suggestions / advice?

Eles poderiam tentar uma tomografia computadorizada. Você já foi diagnosticada com IBS-D? Estou perguntando porque você pode ter má absorção de ácido biliar.
Bile é um líquido amarelo cáustico secretado pelo seu fígado durante a digestão. É o que a vesícula biliar armazena e dosa no intestino delgado durante esse processo. Se você tiver, terá diarreia urgente e incontrolável cercada pela bile. Os testes de fezes voltarão "normais" porque eles não se preocupam com a bile ao redor deles. Você também pode desenvolver DRGE.
O corpo produz um hormônio no final do processo digestivo que permite que a bile seja absorvida pelo corpo. Às vezes, o corpo para de produzir esse hormônio, então sempre há bile em excesso no trato digestivo, daí a diarreia.
IBS (C ou D) é realmente um diagnóstico genérico de vários processos no trato intestinal. Não é um diagnóstico definitivo.
Existe um medicamento chamado questran ou colestiramina que foi originalmente desenvolvido para se ligar à gordura e reduzir o colesterol. É usado para ligar o excesso de bile e permite que as pessoas que têm má absorção de ácido biliar levem uma vida relativamente normal.
Dito isso, você merece ter um diagnóstico mais definitivo. Se puder, eu sugeriria levar seus resultados de teste para outro gastroenterologista, que pode estar mais interessado em descobrir o que está acontecendo.

Normally the Hyda would show if it wasn't stones but not working well.
IBS is what I have and my daughter had to have her GB out and is still suffering with Sphincter of Oddi.
But to help with my IBS I'm on a drug called Cholestragel 625mg before food it's actually for lowering cholesterol but the side effects if you like are binding and easing cramps it's totally changed my life been on it over 15 years now and it's fixed my way of living for the better.
Might be worth asking your GP to try.
A nurse I know had her GB removed and she got put onto cholesterol pills and she found them to help her as well, didn't cure all but did help her.

Hi Stephie, have you had a CT scan? From everything I've read on here people have had problems with there gallbladder and all the tests have been clear.
I had my gallbladder out in March due to it not working properly but I'm still having the same symptoms so my consultant is going to send me to have a stomach emptying test as he thinks that it maybe working too slowly, I'm also going to the pain clinic in June as he thinks I also have anterior cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome which I've found out is under diagnosed and often people are diagnosed with ibs instead. I'm very tender under the right ribs and have pain just like you so it may well be an idea to mention it, its just an idea.
