Good Morning All I'm sorry that I have to do it this way. One of the guys ask me to get some information from my Urologist about the Urolift I had his e-mail saved but somehow it is gone. He ask because he loves to ski and he wanted to know if he fell would it bother the clip's My doctor said that after the 4 weeks the clips will a here to the prostate and they will not move or dis lodge for any reason. Falling is not going to do a thing. As you all know I had mine done almost 4 years ago and I am still wide open. The clip are still in the same place were my doctor put them Thank you all and have a great day..................Ken

I’m glad to hear that the Urolift has worked for, glad to hear something positive!

I don’t know if I am a candidate for Urolift. Prostage not large per URO’s ultrasound and DRE and lateral lobe obstruction with a Bladder that had been stretched and did not pass the Urodynamic tests. I guess if I get the Bladder rehabbed Urolift might be an option. I have been following JimJames CIC methods for last 9 months.
I plan on getting urolift soon, I am worried that the clips may move or dislodge and that seems painful.
Lew they do not move once it is a heard to the prostate
But you will not feel them if it does.
Let me tell you a story. I had my Urolift done April of 2015. In December of 2015 I got a prostate infection could have been prostatitis. I was on Cipro for 30 days 2000 MG In Feb. I had to have my stricture check.
When he put the scope in and said the stricture was fine but then he said what is that. I felt like saying you have the camera. It turned out to be a clip let loose ( This was the only time the company heard of that. My doctor called and I am in the books ) He tried to put it back but I told him to stop I could not take the pain.
Never felt it at all. Had the repair done 2 weeks later. Have had no problem with it at all.
No one could figure out why my prostate got smaller and the clip would let loose. This was the first time in 5 years this has happen.
