I am a 19 year old female with a boyfriend that I have had for almost three years. We have unprotected sex and occasionally with a condom. He is a landscaper this summer and has poison ivy. We have had sex and his poison ivy is almost gone but I recently got a couple tiny pimple like bumps on the end of my vagina close to my anus and everyday it has gotten worse. the gynocologost said she never saw poison ivy on a vagina but it seems like it is because herpes are not just on one side of the vagina. She still tested me for herpes to be safe. All of my SYMPTOMS are: swollen vagina limps with little bumps on them, some pimple like bumps close to my anus, itchy, scratchy, burning, bothers me when I pee and poop. If anyone has any suggestions or if this happened to anyone please let me know, this is the worst pain of my life. I don't know how to add I picture I wish I could
What did the herpes results say? Have you had a full STD check?
Sorry you're going through this. I walked through poison ivy last summer and my ankles burned like crazy, so I can only imagine what it would be like to get it down there. I had a ton of hives/blisters on my ankles from it.
If you touched any of his clothes or tools it is possible the urushiol (what you react to from the poison ivy) transfered to your hands then to other body parts that you touched. You can get poison ivy from another person too if you've touched urushiol that was still on your boyfriend as well. Blisters don't have urushiol in them but it is very sticky so it could have still been on his skin.
