Has anyone else experienced getting headaches when taking valtrex, especially daily and/or when you up your dosage? I think many people are not linking this together. It happened when I first started taking it daily on 500mlgs, just the headache that is and eventually went away after time. I started taking 500 twice a day and the jaw pain is so bad, that it causes my ear to hurt at times and take 800mlgs of motrin twice a day. Anyone else having an aahh-haa moment?
I have read that Valtrex can cause headaches and joint pain. It would be a good idea to consult your doctor as this was listed under less common side effects.
Switching to a different brand might be a good idea... And to make sure nothing else is going on.

I know now after my 3rd treatment with Valacicolvir that it gives me bad head and neck aches. Today my jaw is so sore although I stopped the tablet yesterday morning. Did you find any good alternative to Valtex? Thank you
