Has anybody ever been pregnant of tried for a baby whilst being on this medication? Myself and my husband want to start trying for a baby once the tablets kick in and I start to feel better, but obviously want to see if anyone else has had any experiences in being pregnant or trying for a baby whilst being on the meds?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
The leaflet in my box of venlafaxine says "Tell your doctor if you become pregnant or you are trying to become pregnant." It goes on to mention discussing "potential benefits" of venlafaxine and "potential risks to your unborn child". So you do need to talk it over with your doctor.
Yes I mention it to my doctor and he said to let him know when we will trying so he can put me on something else if necessary.
No I had to come off them
Did u go on anything else or come off them altogether?
I changed on to something else and can't remember what it was 🙉
That was 6 years ago and only put Back on Efexxor from the summer 😉
Ah so there is something u can go on whilst pregnant dos anxiety then. That's so good to hear as been worried I won't be able to cope whilst being pregnant.
