Looks and sounds like could be herpes. did the tip of the bumps look like blisters? or have clear fluid? its alot of bumps. its probly your first or primary outbreak… get tested asap

They could be nodules from scabies, a parasitic infection that can be passed on through intimate contact. Do you have other areas of your skin that are also itchy?
Ideally you should see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis. Treatment for scabies is readily available from your local pharmacy or drugstore- ask for permethrin cream or malathion lotion; make sure you follow the instructions carefully and repeat the treatment once more, a week later. Your sex partner should be advised to get treated as well.
