Vulvar swelling and redness when sitting

curious to see if anyone else has this? my vulva goes super red and swollen if sitting or standing. but when lying down disappears. have taken two photos to show the difference 1) sitting 2) taken just after lying down

I would say it just looks like the fact that the blood is flowing down when you’re sitting down and then when you’re laying down the blood is distributed around your body more evenly. Nothing to worry about. Just shows your body is doing its job. Hope that helps

thanks! so weird because it never used to do that :(. feels like i am sitting on swollen lumps when i sit down

Not saying you are imagining it by any stretch but I know what my mind is like and if I’m aware of something like palpitations and my heartbeat then it makes me concentrate on it even more and then I’m hyper aware of it.
