It's 2 A.m and I felt another panick attack coming on, still need to go to the DR tomorrow for more blood work now that they know it's TSH level, what's is something I can do in the mean time for the symptoms? Was given Hydroxyzine by one Doctor Cause He Thought It Was More A Mental issue then Thyroid , I'm literally in tears because it so scary, feeling sweaty and hearts racing. Please some one help!!!!
Was just told my TSH was Hugh but need to go bavk for more Blood works, Hydroxyzine in mean time.hel
Those panic attacks are scary-trust me I know. I used to think I was going mad but now I know its my thyroid thats the problem I can deal with it. Once you get your meds sorted your panic attacks will even out. Horrible symptoms with thyroid but i promise they will ease. Try not to worry xx
Symptoms will ease when the dosage of your medication is correct. I had similar symptoms - racing heart, sweaty, shaking hands, weak legs upon getting out of bed, bad headaches upon waking up, gritty eyes and blurred vision etc. etc. But now after 2 years I am not taking any medication and totally 100% back to normal. I was most worried about my eyes because that is what people can see. My eyelid retraction, and staring eyes was very upsetting to me, although most people said it wasnt that bad. Totally cured now and know now what symptoms to look out for if it ever comes back - doctor said once you have Graves and things get back to normal you are much more at risk of getting it again. Good luck to you and please dont worry as I know from experience that it can totally disappear between 18 months and 2 years.
Thank you, I'm hoping the blood test come back faster then last time so I can get some meds already. Yes, it is very scary, luckily the Hydroxizine helped out last night, now I just felt tired. Thank you so much.
