Weird crawling/tingling feeling in head and throat

I've been feeling weird sensations in my head/mouth and throat. It's not pressure bc I get head pressure a lot so I know the difference. This feels like a crawling/tingling feeling and i feel it through my head down to my throat and sometimes inside my mouth. When i sleep I wakes me up too. Its So hard to explain but it feels scary and it comes and goes. Feels like the nerves inside my head are messed up or something. Back of my throat has been feeling weird too. I feel no pain and I haven't been feeling panicky or anything but i can't help but worry. Lastly i feel little jolt like feelings shoot from my head to my body at times. If anybody can weigh in I'd really appreciate it.

Hi there

i have have And do get the  feeling of tingaling but more so outside my head and up and down my sides. I think it’s side affects of my meds.

Have you spoken to you dr about this, my advice would be to speak to him/her and say what’s happening.

Are you on any medication at all maybe side affects just a thought.

a chat with the dr would be a good start that’s just my opinion

take care

It sounds like your Anxiety, although I cannot understand anything like this that gives such a spectrum of symptoms

I get scratching head caused by my Ps and I wash my hair with various shampoos that clear the itch.

Have you had your teeth checked, we are supposed to see a dentist every six month/year. IF NOT GET YOUR TEETH CHECKED

If jumpy and worried talk to your GP

Well I am lowering my dose to get off it. I've been taking 10mg of paroxitene for 2 months and started taking 5 mg.

It's been a week off lowering my dose.

Hi again,

were you experiencing this before you started to lower your dose?

or has it come on recently?

advice from your dr seems he bst way to go.

Thank you Vicky that's reassuring. I'm starting to feel a bit better.

Hey don't know if you will see this or not but I get weird crawling feeling at the back of my head it used to only be on the right side and in the last few days I've felt it on the left side. It's nasty. Hate it. I feel it in my neck too rolleyes doctors have no answers for me

Hi can someone please tell me what’s happening to me I went to the doctor last week and he put me on 20mg citrol for my anxiety, ever since I’ve been taken the pills it’s gett worse I feek scared all the time hearing loud ringing noises in my head and humming also I felt detached from the world what is happening to me everything is so dark , and my head and body get weird hot feeling sometimes, I can’t think straight I’m not interested in anything anymore it’s my memory has fadedsad

Hi Shannon I got the very same feeling last year also and did research on it . Believe it or not” it’s your body recovering from all the stress and anxiety . It’s like a pins and niddle feeling? I got all the time when I stretched or when I went to pick up something. For you and Lopez this only temporary and will go away . Take care

Did you ever feel cold sensations on your head, ? Like cold water or air is on you head? This happened me last night. And as for your anxiety and hot head feeling it's completely normal if I Google something health related thats scary I get all hot especially in my head. But never felt cold

My guess is that it is your anxiety. Anxiety can overstimulate the nerves and cause hypersensitivity. Its nothing dangerous. Ive had the same thing for quite some time. Try not to overthink it and always keep focused on doing something productive each day. You wont have to deal with anxiety forever because well all die at some point. So while your alive try to not let it totally control your life. Practice willpower.

Cheers

I have had this happen to me about 3 yrs ago. Do you also feel the crawling sensation in your eyes & ears? The doctors have no answers but i feel like i have narrowed it down to being dehydrated and/or constipated. Your thoughts?

Also, its currently happening to me again. The last time it only happened at night but this time there seems to be no rhyme or reason.
