What are the chances of a 60+ male after two heart attacks to be prescribed ADHD medication?

Having a prospect of paying in excess of £1500 for assessment, tests, etc. I don’t want to waste my very limited resources just to find out “sorry, no can’t do”.

I’d say if you were under the close care of a Cardiologist in the same medical network and you were trying to seek treatment for ADHD because it’s causing conflicts at work or home. I wouldn’t find it completely unreasonable for a 60yr, with no prior addictions to drugs or alcohol, who is in reasonable good health to be able to get on a low dose prescription of Adderall. If you have limited resources and not very good health insurance I’d say don’t waste you time and money because you’ll end up jumping through lots of hoops and if you do get on it your Cardiologist will be monitoring your heart with monthly ekg’s to satisfy your prescribing NP or MD. Hope you didn’t mind the long answer.
