I have heart palpations for years now and now I don't worry about them. They are normally just a skipped beat then a hard thud following but today it was so different. It was like a flutter and just a abnormal beat lasting what seemed like forever but was probably 3 seconds. I've never had that and it scared me something fierce. Does anyone else have these? I am a nurse and the only way i can explain it is like an A-fib ecg last just a few seconds. Maybe that is normal for some with palps but because i have never had them like that im freaking out. Tell me about yours!
Hi kayla, yes. I’ve had the very same thing you’re describing! I’ve also had the “thud” feeling. this has been going on for YEARS…without any changes. there’s NO pain, just the feeling. when I first started experiencing them, I pretty much Freaked! but since I HATE going to the doc’s, I (maybe unwisely) ignored it😕.
being that You’re a nurse, you probably have a leg up on me!
hey just to let you know, your not alone. i suffer all day with palpitatons and they change all day, my heart feels like it has hiccups. i get them without fail lying down on my side or when i lie on back there horrible and im on the highest dose of propananol xx
