been ill for about 3 years and just wondering aboit what where peoples first stmptoms of the illness as i know the common one is flu like symptoms but mine was continually feeling nausea and then fatigue started months after . is this normal ? can it happen like that?
I think the exact triggers, timing and symptoms are quite individual. In my case (over six years ago) I had a bad bout of flu closely followed by another and, shortly afterwards had the severe fatigue - and then (a few weeks later) dissociation. Looking back I think there were symptoms for many years (fatigue, albeit lower level, digestive/IBS issues which, regrettably, I ignored). Good luck!

Mine was after a car crash and first symptoms where non restful sleep, memory issues, brain fog and no energy.

hey. i know the most common symptom for most people with cfs or ME is feeling sick and most people get it after not fully recovering from a virus . I personally felt sick , dizzy and would get out of breath easily . I would get head rush alot when standing up and I was sensitive to light. I had many more symptoms which I can list if you would like but those symtoms lasted for a year and i still have most. experiencing a sickness feeling is very much normal
