What else is there to try for anxiety?

Propranolol isn't helping and the GP's and Psychiatrists won't give me Benzo's. Is there anything else that can help with crippling anxiety?

Go back and tell them. There are lots of alternatives.  My psych said propanolol causes depression. They may try an anti anxiety add on like pregabalin

Anti-depressants, anti-psychotics? Not eery med works for everyone so you may need to go through a few. Venlafaxine worked wonders for me at a high dose.

Yu don't need benzos unless you are starting out anti-depressant therapy. You need anti-depressants not propanolol. I am not sure why your psychiatrist is not prescribing a proper therapy for you? Psychiatrists don't dish out propanolol. They much prefer real solutions. Which makes me think this is something your GP prescribed. In which case, if you do not feel better it is his/her job to refer you to a psychiatrist. Or prescribe you a starting dose of antidepressants.
