Hello I am a young male and potentially have problem with ejaculation. Unfortunately I may have been suffering from premature ejaculation but I did not care about it pretty much until I got into a really embarrassing situation when I ejaculated really quickly during sex with my partner. Since that every time when I masturbated i tried to hold back my semen when ejaculating. I was doing that for weeks almost every day. It worked fine but couple days ago when I decided to ejaculate, just a small amount of sperm came out of me (It was also more like a water substance). It also happened next day and day after. Do I need a break from it for some time or can this be a serious issue? I am kinda scared every help is appreciated. Thanks ![]()
If I've understood correctly, to hold back semen when ejaculating is not a good idea. What I recommend is that you learn to alter the stimulation, including resting for a few seconds while masturbating so that you can last longer before ejaculating. It sounds as if you have learned to suppress rather than delay.
Hi Daniel, I wonder if you do any excercise routine regularly or are a sports person in any way? It would also be useful to know what actual age you are?
I had several issues with my sexual functioning from maintaining an erection to ejaculating far too-quickly. Then I learnt about controlling the core muscles in the stomach and about the benefits for both men and women of doing what are commonly known as kegel exercises - although in men the muscle group is the PC Muscles.
The medical benefits of such exercises are now well-known - but it is usually more often practiced for urinary incontinence. Many Men's Health magazines will run regular articles on Kegels for Men.
You should know that I probably started doing my 'kegels' around 10 to 12 years ago and the main benefit I gain from this is to stop myself ejaculating very quickly once I am aroused. While it is possible to take these practices to different extremes - like not ejaculating for so many hours, or to take yourself to the point of ejaculation umpteen times, used for normal sex practices there are only positive benefits to doing the exercises, then, once you have 'trained' your muscles to gain the control you want, you only need to do the exercises every now and again. If you happen to read a number of articles on this you may see a term 'milking the prostate' - again, I would say that in my experience if you train and use your kegels in a responsible manner this is NOT an issue you will ever need to deal with. (when you develop your relationship with a partner you may want to do this occasionally as part of exploring different practices and pleasures)
The huge positive benefit you get is that in old age you will be in much greater control of your bladder and when it possible for you to urinate. Believe me, at the age of around 50 I used to get urine running down the inside of my jeans / pants / shorts etc., certainly not a very nice feeling, and certainly not hygienic either.
As we cannot post links to external web sites on here I will list some search terms at the bottom of this message so you can do your own internet search - be wary, some sites are selling products no one needs, ONLY look at the ones that have some medical credibility and can back up what they are saying with Medical Research and other such evidence. In addition, I can tell you some simple exercises to do - but you could also learn a great deal by going along to any Pilates sessions run in your area to learn about controlling your core muscles too!
