When should I get my flu vaccine?

Many doctors are worried that flu season this year may be worse than in previous years, due to the fact that fewer people were infected with the virus during the last season. In addition, there's real concern that when COVID-19 cases rise in the autumn, as they inevitably will, a combination of flu and COVID-19 could put the NHS under even more serious strain.

Hi, I am eligible for a free flu vaccine jab. There is only a one day clinic from 9am to 4 am. As so many people , I am working that day. If getting people vaccinated is so important, why is our health service in Northern Ireland not flexible, offering vaccination sessions at different parts of the day? E.g., even or early mornings? Boots is offering the service but it is very limited in providing this service so impossible to book.
