White rash penis, smell when wash

hi i’m looking for some advice i noticed a white patch on my penis a few weeks back but wasn’t sore or anything. i noticed that part of it started going to the normal colour so thought would be just a blemish but another part has turned red now and its been quite sore especially when shower(just the part that turned red) and masterbation

i called GUM and due to covid had to send photos online the doctor advised it looked like a temporary skin condition and monitor over the next few weeks washing with e45 lotion

the skin or red part doesnt feel red just the red part is sore to touch

i was washing in shower today and there was a strong odour coming from there too. does anyone know what this could be.

It looks like you’ve developed balanitis- the red patches and now the white spot/s. Unfortunately the photos are not in focus and I’m not clear how these lesions have evolved. Are you saying that the white spots develop into red spots; and that the red spots are tender?
Is there fluid (pus?) beneath the white spots? If this condition is recurrent then you may be experiencing genital herpes and the white spots are actually pustules which then ulcerate, leaving reddened ulcerated areas.
Ideally, you should get tested for STDs including a swab taken for herpes DNA as well as blood tests for HIV and syphilis. If you live in the UK, you can order some of these tests online (Google NHS STD tests).

I also have the similar condition that comes and goes… like spotty rash on penis and not itchy ..no pain.. can some pls help … I got tested for STDs twice after 1 and 2 months of unprotected exposure all same negative including herpes

it has been a white patch for about 3 weeks now before some of it started going red but im not sure if the redness is it clearing away as the red part is a similar colour to the rest of the penis. i spoke to GUM who advised it doesnt appear to be herpes

these.pictures are blurry can u take some in better lighting a bit farther out? any itching? are you sexually active?

did your doctor do a herpes swab on the white spots thats the only way to know for sure.

no she never as cant see the doctor due to covid so its only pictures over the phone but it doesnt look like herpes and the doctor ruled it out over the phone

no itching it was painful when i posted this but the pain has subsided now !

this is what it looks like as of yesterday. im sticking to what the doctor advised and continue to keep using e45 when watching and not using any perfumed soap
