Sam, can you be specific about where the fungal infection was? Do you mean the infection was not on the penis itself or the testicles, but that it was somewhere else, or what? Where precisely?
You also seem to be saying the fugal infection has ‘reduced’ after using creams, do you mean the fungal infection is not completely cured?
And, the large white area on the head of your penis was not there prior to you having sex 3 months ago?
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I am having this fungal infection near testicles and around inner thighs for long time. I will apply creams it will go off and again it will come back. So not sure its completely cured or not and don’t know why its coming back. I always wash my genitals daily while taking bath.
Regarding white patch: Yes, it was not there before that. I have noticed this three weeks back.
Please help. what this could be.
Okay Sam, you need to get to the bottom of why you are having persistent fungal infections.
So, do you sweat a great deal? Showers are more hygienic than taking a bath, is it possible for you to shower regularly?
Personal hygiene may sound like a simple thing to achieve, but when it is wrong the circumstances you are experiencing can be the result. So if you can shower in the morning, then put on clean underwear, shorts is a good starting place. Then you need to look at whether you are sweating a great deal during the day, and what the reasons for this are, and then look at clothes selection, or even buying light-weight, sweat wicking clothing to help deal with sweat issues.
If you happen to be a sporting person, do regular exercise where you sweat a great deal, do gym workouts, that kind of thing, then you need to look at sweat control and how to combat the resultant fungal infections.
With the white patch on the head of your penis it is possible that this could be linked to the regular fungal infections you are getting, or it could be something entirely separate.
The photo does not give the clarity to show what this may be, it could be something relatively simple, such as Vitiligo, it could be caused by regular moisture in the area, or it could be the beginnings of a skin condition. It would be better if you can get a Doctor to check that for you ……
