I’ve had this condition, on and off, for a few months. I got tested at the end of April, and everything was negative. I don’t have any discharge or pain when urinating. I don’t have any bumps or warts. I only get the skin of the head of my penis irritated and it burns. Since I’m uncut, I think this is some sort of balanitis, so I used a soap (Terrasil) and the condition improved. But it returns after masturbating. Then, I got a cream (LMNOOP) which is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-itch. At this point this cream is the only thing that alleviates the allergy. The burning sensation goes away after a couple of days using it. I thought it could’ve been herpes (as I was diagnosed with herpes 2 like twenty years ago), however, these are not like flare-ups at all. I still took Valtrex daily for a month or so to try and get it under control, just in case. But it doesn’t seem like herpes… it seems more like balanitis or allergy due to masturbation and friction. Any ideas would help. Once the condition clears and I feel like masturbating again, I use a lotion called “so-low stroker lotion”… but even if I don’t use it and I use lube, still the head of the penis gets this reaction… it’s annoying since I’ve tried to heal the skin… and once I think it has cleared, it comes back again within a week or so. I already have an appointment with the doctor, but it will take 2 more weeks. Please help!
