I have been suffering with upper right stomach pain that radiates into my back on and off for over a year along with a bruised feeling all over my stomach, the best way i can describe it is the achy pain you get after a stomach bug. In June the pain under my rib was getting worse and really getting to me so i spoke to my gp who sent me for an ultrasound and some blood tests and everything cam back normal but the pain carried on. In early July i developed a large patchy rash on my back that has now spread to my stomach, thighs and backs of my knees (i don’t have any patches on any part of my skin that sees sunlight on a daily basis). My skin itches all over my body but worse were the rash is. I either feel sick or am sick every day and am struggling to eat much as i just feel full constantly. I’ve also started to notice i have the chills most days along with some weird numbness sensation around my chin and bottom lip and constant mouth ulcers. All in all i just feel quite run down. I have been tested for helicobacter pylori but it came back negative and i’ve also had a load of blood tests. I was given some PPI’s for the stomach pains but they just made me feel like i had heartburn constantly and didn’t help the pain. For the rash they have so far given me antibiotics, fungal tablets, steroid cream and emollients none of which have helped. I’m not looking for a diagnosis just wondering if anyone has had any similar symptoms. I am speaking to my gp tonight to see what the next round of tests/treatment is
could be dyspepsia ( indigestion).
You might need to take PPIs for a longer period of time.
