Hi again. Some of you may recall that I posted a couple weeks ago about the incident with my father and my cats. Well, something similar has come up. My cat, Bubbles, has begun acting strangely. He's stumbling and falling as he walks, he's very off-balance, and his eyes are wobbling (nystagmus). I can't afford to take him to the vet as I'm quite literally dirt poor right now so I just have to keep an eye on him for the time being. I'm finding it quite hard to keep calm, since I'm remembering the incident with my other cats that's still so fresh in my mind. I would greatly appreciate some ideas on how to cool my head off so waiting for my mother's paycheck doesn't cause my mind to collapse in on itself.
somethings your cat could have are vestibular condition in inner ear or middle ear infection. antibiotic given for infection. make sure your cat is comfortable and take to the vet as soon as you can for treatment.
Please try and take your cat to the vet as soon as possible. One of my cats was really sick a week ago and had to stay there for three days on a drip. My anxiety was through the rood. Fortunately she seems ok now (touch wood). The sooner your cat gets treated the sooner he'll be better.
Sorry to hear that, I can tell your very worried about your pet, but you defo do need to bring him/her to a vet, even if it costs extra or you may need to ask someone if you can borrow some money. Your pet needs to be seen. Animals cant talk, it sounds the cat needs to be checked. Hope everything goes ok <3
Can you talk to a vet and plead with him or her to help your poor cat? Tell them you will pay them back as soon as you can (and do it!) and offer to sweep up the place or do something to to work off the money. Its critical your cat get attention -now.
We've been assuming vestibular since his head is tilted.
Yeah the thing is there's literally nothing I can do right now but wait for my mom's stipend. I am in a rush but that's not going to hurry the money up.
I don't have family connections nor do I have friends. Neither does my mother. We are both completely alone in this. I know he needs to be seen but there is literally nothing I can do right now as the vet doesn't accept payment in increments and demands pay before they act.
No. I can't. That would never work. All I can do is wait for my mom to get paid.
