I do think I suffer from healthy anxiety as I google every symptom but for the past few months I have been getting dizzy/nauseous at random times for no reason. It could last up to an hour and can ease by me laying down. I went to the doctors and they did blood tests and found nothing so I'm only convinced now that it's a brain tumour!! I'm really worried because I can't think of any other reason for me feeling like this. The doctor did say I can get referred to the hospital for a scan but that's making me even more scared that they'll find something! I'm only 19 and eat a fairly balanced diet so I'm not sure if I'm over reacting but I keep googling symptoms of it and I see that it says dizziness/drowsiness there so I'm just very concerned
Try drinking a lot more water.... Sometimes we think we're drinking a enough water but we're not.... And also a multi vitamin works good! And add more fruits and veggies
Thanks for replying! Yeah that's exactly what I've tried to do. I completely changed my diet cut out fizzy etc and limited sugars and drinking more water. Nothing's changed yet though that's why I think it has to be something serious because it's not a normal thing to have
Well usually when u have a brain tumor u have a lot more symptoms like sever headaches, throwing up.... Really bad sensitivity to light... Seziures ect.... There's so many other things like anxiety, dehydration, heat, nerves, lacking vitamins I really wouldn't worry about it
También podrías ir a buscar el escaneo.
Hi shaena, I also worry about having a brain tumour. I have started to get over that fear as I got great help from people here, and my doctor. If you do have a brain tumour ( which you more than likely don't) your symptoms would be constant. They would not come and go. Also, you would more than likely have taken a seizure or had other symptoms. Brain tumours are insanely rare. There are so many other things that can cause these symptoms ( anxiety being one of them). One important piece of advice is to never Google your symptoms. They only show the rare causes of your symptoms. It is good to hear you have been to your doctor. If he/she really thought you were sick, they would've sent you into the hospital, not say you can go in if you want. Remember, they have years of medical training, and they know you.
Other things, such as dehydration and not having enough of certain vitamins can also cause this. Make sure you drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit and vegetables. I found cooking a good way of making sure I eat healthy, and it keeps my mind off my symptoms.
Remember, almost everyone with health anxiety thinks they have a brain tumour, your not alone. The people here know so much about anxiety, and are here to help.
Hope this helps,Jack
This comment really helped me a lot thanks for your advice! It's true I don't have any other symptoms along with it and I definetly have not had any seizures. I'll definetly keep up with the drinking lots more and eating better. Thanks a lot for your help
Hello shaena
You have been given blood tests and all seems to be ok.
Your GP has offered a scan and now you are concerned this test will prove a brain Tumour.
All I can say is, the test your GP wants to give is to put your mind at test and that does not mean you have a brain tumour.
You are nineteen the chances of this condition effecting your brain is very low and you need to trust your GP, who is trying to calm your anxiety.
Talk to your GP, He/She is in partnership with you to keep you healthy.
We are here i you need to chat and have some support, I will say however do not worry, anxiety makes people hyposensitive when it comes to health problems

Dear girl, The two most heard complaints we hear on this forum, especially those new to anxiety are there....I think I have a brain tumor
and I think something is wrong with my heart. We hear those hundreds of times. For some reason, anxiety causes those two to be the "most popular" fears that aren't true.
The interesting thing is that no one believes there doctors and tests that say they are alright....except for anxiety. If you take a couple of hours reading through some other anxiety discussions here, you will learn a lot and understand what you are dealing with...and how to help yourself.
A stay te heck off Dr. Google!!! That will just scare the socks off you.
This forum is a good place for you to become familiar with anxiety, Shaena.
Thank you so much for your response .. I feel so welcomed as I just discovered this site today. I have been suffering for anxiety for a number of years but it only had just come to me recently that it is actually anxiety I have. I have some questions/things I'd like to discuss about anxiety in general and because of the great responses I've had regarding the 'brain tumour' I think I will create another discussion about my anxiety too. Thank you for your kind words
Thanks for replying, I think I will just get the scan to clear my head and talk to my GP some more about where to go next with my anxiety
