Anyone see a small spot of blood on their wound dressing a few days after hip replacement, just wondered if this is normal as has hip replacement in the other side before and had wound leakage which i checked out and they said it was normal when i went back.
yes my wound wept for a couple of days had a new dressing on after a week that also had
blood on it but it was redressed and was fine. Now 11 weeks on scar has healed well. good luck with the healing process 
After I had my dressing removed it decided to bleed all over the bed. Looked like a horror film.
I had a little, kept it covered till day 15. most of the butterflys came off by them self and is healing nicly.. Im 24 days post op.
totally normal may last for a week or two
