i had hip replacement in November 2015 and i started doing work and my personal things after 6 months after 2 years i started having pain in my low back and i was limping i went to the doctor they did bone scan and aspirated the wound from hip and said there is infection E COLI THEY SAID NEED TO GO FoR 2 stage revision and they operated on 9 may 2018 and inserted a antibiotic spacer after that IV antibiotics was given for 3 months and then 2 stage was done and after 6 days wound drainage started and huge pain after that they said its ok we will wait then did an MRI and aaid we will change the size of head and will do debridement after that they did the same i was walking after two days than again wound drainage started not able to walk i have numbness in foot and only able to dorsiflex my foot little bit they started antibiotic supression and still not able to walk
so sorry for your pain, i know just how you feel! i am trying to find a doctor who will actually do something for me… good luck to you
good grief that’s terrible! i had fever 3 days after my original thr! what are the dr’s saying the next step is? i feel for you, I’m suffering the same as usual.
