Yeast infection...I think

So as I am still new to this I am trying to understand my body. I am having the same feeling/symptoms I had when I thought I had a yeast infection. So I am wondering if this is a yeast infection and if so is it ok to use my regular yeast infection ointment with clob? I am using clob twice a week now. Thanks in advance.

Off and on, i feel this way too. Clob gave me releif but I must check this out soon. My gnyo told me to come in when i have the itching because she will take a culture when this is happening. I also have a tiny raised bump that comes and goes. Last time i was there at the gyno.. she could hardly see it.. Have had this itching that comes and goes frequently for the past year.. Keep me updated and i will too!!

I get yeast infections in the rectal area I use the yeast meds there and the clob on the vaginal area. I have found that cutting out sugar has helped with the yeast. Not perfect, it's hard. Not looking forward to the summer when we often had ice cream.

I have been doing so well with my diet but had a few "screw" it times this week. I know that is my fault but sometimes it is so difficult to be so strict!!! It is so frustrating sometimes and I still get a need for sugar the week before my cycle. I am trying!!!

I've been off sugar for a long time - even limited fruit.  After a while, my taste buds changed and rich desserts started to taste  too sicky sweet.

The only thing left to me was dark chocolate, which in moderation is actually good for you. So I indulge in a chunk or two a day of the good stuff, as dark as still tastes good.

I even have a recipe for chocolate pudding made in the blender with 1 avocado soft and ripe, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 cp cacao powder (cacao is good quality powdered chocolate where the temperature has never been raised so it's actually a superfood)  1/2 cp  almond milk, powdered stevia the equivalent of 1/4 cp honey or maple syrup. Toss a few fresh raspberries on top and you can have yummy chocolate pudding for lunch! And sometimes I do, just because.....as you say.... screw it!!! smile

If you can find healthy stuff that you can indulge in, you can beat sugar.

Yeah, well, a good sugar binge will do it. My forty years of yeast and LS tell me they often go hand-in-hand. When I was still having sex – the friction stirs up yeast – I would apply a dab of mild Canestan cream topically at the first hint of yeast. A bad yeast outbreak can trigger an LS flare. This is very inspiring to realize when facing sugar temptations.

Thank you for the replies and the recipe!!! I am looking forward to trying it! I guess sometimes it gets hard when there are all these speciality candy, cookie, cakes, drinks, etc. now and I know they will all eventually make me miserable if I eat them.
