Anyone here in the age group of 20 - 35 who got hip replacement? Please share your experience, health condition etc. And restrictions you are advised to follow for lifelong?
I am 27 from India. I got right THR in 2017. There is no pain as such. But strength and flexibility is ok but not so good. When I do some physical work it starts feeling uncomfortable. I hope it will improve further. I am advised to avoid motor bike riding and sitting cross legged.
Implant used was Depuy synthes with posterior approach.

Hi i am aged 33 had my total hip replacement 2016 june all has being well until last year november was restricted from crossing my leg,jumpung and running being dis age with hip replacement its quite callenging i am unable to drive a distance and cant even sleep on my op leg for morethan 3 hours
You started facing problems after recovering? Why this happened?
U know the exitement of recovering i thnk that i have being convincing myself that am recovering well so i started overdoing some of the thngs lyk driving about more dan 500kl alone crosing my legs but with the issue of leg crossing my Dr advised mi that i can do what i can coz most restrictions must be fully followed during the 1st 6weeks process of recovering but after a year especially at my age i can just be able to live my normal life do thngs but jst be careful to not overdo certain things that will eventually strains my hip
