About sleep

Hi all, I wanted to ask a bit about tips for improving sleep. I guess this is one of the parts that we can work on to reduce depresion and anxiety.

In my case I think Im spending too much time in bed even when not sleeping. Any help?

I would love a full night if restful sleep.i do not remember the last time i even had that pleasure.

hi casiodss. if you can take lots of exercise during the day it would help. lso have some relaxing music on in the backround at a low volume.also if possible only go to bed when you feel tired. try not to obsess about trying to get to sleep as this only makes it more difficult to sleep. once you get into the pattern of sleeping it shouldbecome natural. I'm currently not sleeping well at all due to startups / side effects of RX. But...what I have done is take an Epsom Salt bath (they have it with lavendar, also), put lavendar essential oil on your pillow/ sheets, reflexology (there is place on your foot that is supposed to help), some yoga poses, keeping my thermostat around 70ish, etc.... Hope this helps. I'd like to find my sandman again, too. 

I told my doc I wasn't sleeping and when I did the dreams were bad or frustrating. I started having more anger and anxiety so he prescribed Quetiapan (sp). I've Gotten some good sleep finally.
