My anxiety has been going on for a month now.I've been having crying spells in the morning, some days are good and some are bad my job has been stressing me out, seems like I stop worrying about one thing and something else comes up will this ever stop.
I have had a similar sort of problem some days are good and others are just rubbish. Positive thinking seems impossible and you feel like there's no way of making it better. When I have a bad thought pattern I have tried using the 5 hat technique to clear those bad thoughts and refocus on positive ones. From research it appears this is not an isolated issue so your not alone x
Thank you!! I just want to be happy again
You aren't alone that's for sure. I'm having a relapse of depression and panic disorder right now and every minute feels like an impossible nightmare. Are you seeking help at all from the gp? I havr re started meds and waiting for them to kick in feels like a lifetime. Massive hugs to you. Xxxx
Thank you yes I've been on meds for about 2 weeks now
Hi tamara
It is difficult to stay positive and focused when your having a rubbish day.. And i am sorry your struggling.
I found that mindfulness was key to my improvement difficult to get your head around at first , but after a few days of 2 x daily mindful meditation you will notice a marked improvement.
Putting an app on your phone that you maybe able to sneak a listen to in a break at work can help center you and get you focused in the now and not the what if's.
All the coping tools have to be done regularly but it has been proven in studies brains get healthier and shows up on MRI scans with marked improvement.
If you research UCLA mindful studies you will be amazed. In one of thére video's there is a very good mindful meditation and it is one of the best i have done.
Give it a whirl you have nothing to lose but plenty to gain if it helps you.
keep strong and be good to yourself this is a blip and it will pass.
Thank you I will try it!!!

Anxiety works sometimes in waves of negativity, When we start work it is a new situation we need to get used to. Office/ Work Politics are all very normal and for someone new they will need to take the whirlwind eventually this will all pass as you become not a new person, and accepted as an old hand.
At this time all I can suggest is you fulfill your duties and leave work politics alone.
You will learn it all and move on
