Anxiety pain

Anyone having really bad left chest pains? Been going on for a while now only happens at night! It comes and goes it’s not constant but when it comes it frightens me

Don't worry I get the exact same, iv actually just came back from the doctors to get my heart checked to make sure. I find deep breathing helps and just keep thinking it's all in your head, you should get checked over just to put your mind at rest

I had such bad chest pains for a while with anxiety. Lasted about 3 or 4 months, and sometimes it hurt so much it was painful to even laugh. I took tylenol to help with it. Eventually I had an EKG done and when they told me I was totally fine, I calmed down and then the symptoms disappeared -_- haven't had em since lol. I do, however, have a bunch of new physical anxiety symptoms like bad muscle tension in my neck and dizzy spells.

Could be many things including your anxiety, as a panic/anxiety suffer of nearly 30 years, I have found anxiety is always uncomfortable but never causes pain, when you start suffering pain it needs to be investigated fully. I have been diagnosed with this and perhaps you may like to have a look into it, just do a search in these forums for prinzmetal angina, if symptoms match get checked, very hard to diagnose.

Hi, I've had a lot of chest pains, almost always on the left and quite painful. I've had a few ecgs but all normal. I've been told that pain on the left is usually gastric and it was decided I had acid reflux. This is common at night after a heavy meal of when you go to bed. The other common possibility with anxiety is muscular pain from being tense.
